1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and AK Made ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website and professional services. By accessing our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided

AK Made specializes in Website Modernisation, Custom Development, SEO & Local Growth, and Android App Development. Our services are delivered according to our proprietary five-step process:

  • Technical Audit: Analysis of current digital presence.
  • Bespoke Strategy: Definition of architecture and user flow.
  • Development Phase: Construction of the platform using modern frameworks.
  • Optimisation: Testing, accessibility compliance, and speed tuning.
  • Launch & Growth: Deployment and handover.

3. Free Technical Audits

We offer a preliminary "Technical Audit" free of charge to qualifying small businesses. This audit is provided for informational purposes only. We reserve the right to decline audit requests at our sole discretion. The results of the audit do not constitute a binding contract for further development work unless a subsequent proposal is accepted.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Upon full payment of all fees associated with a project, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the website, software, or application developed for your business.

Portfolio Rights: You agree that AK Made retains the right to display the final project, including screenshots, design elements, and performance metrics, in our portfolio and marketing materials to demonstrate our expertise.

5. Client Obligations

To ensure the timely completion of the project, you agree to:

  • Provide all necessary text, images, and branding assets within agreed timeframes.
  • Grant necessary access to hosting environments, domain registrars, or analytics accounts.
  • Provide timely feedback on design drafts and development milestones.

Delays caused by the client may result in rescheduled launch dates and, in extended cases, additional fees to recommence work.

6. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

While we employ industry-leading practices to improve your local search rankings and digital presence, we cannot guarantee specific rankings on search engines (e.g., "Step 1 on Google"). Search algorithms are third-party systems that change frequently; therefore, our SEO services are performed on a "best effort" basis.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AK Made shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, business interruption, or loss of data.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of England and Wales. AK Made and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.
